Surviving the Terror

The impacts of terrorist groups like Boko Haram are far reaching and long lasting. In the city of Yola, Nigeria there are now more than 400,000 internally displaced people. The majority of them are women and girls who have lost their husbands, fathers, homes and neighborhoods to the extremist group.
